El Ejido Archeological Collection (CAEE)

Plaza Teniente Arturo Muñoz 1 (Auditorio de El Ejido), 04700, El Ejido

By visiting El Ejido Archeological Collection, you will get an insight into the history of El Ejido from the very first human occupation, dated 5000 years ago, until the end of the Roman Age. The collection is divided into two rooms, the Prehistorian room and the Roman one. In the latter, you can see the Roman mosaic found by chance at the Murgi Archeological Site in 1984. This accidental find marked the beginning of the excavations on the site and the current collection.
