An event at the 49th El Ejido Theatre Festival.

King Berenguer learns that he will die in just over an hour, right as his kingdom is in chaos and nature seems to take revenge. Despite his orders, no one listens, and as he desperately tries to save his life, ridiculous and funny situations unfold. Through his behavior, we see him go through the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, sadness, and finally acceptance. The play combines very strong humor with deep and moving moments, taking the audience from laughter to intense and reflective emotion, reminiscent of Shakespeare\u2019s great soliloquies or Greek tragedy<\/p>\n\n\n\n
