Paisajes de sal arena y viento<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Punta Entinas-Sabinar podr\u00eda considerarse una \u201cc\u00e1psula del tiempo\u201d donde se ha preservado un ecosistema litoral<\/em> poco transformado. Pasear por sus senderos supone regresar al paisaje original que tuvieron nuestras costas antes del boom tur\u00edstico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El mar, la sal y el viento han forjado las formas de Punta Entinas-Sabinar con dunas, humedales, playas, antiguos restos de cultivo de secano y el singular paraje de los Alcores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Todos ellos forman el rico ecosistema de Punta Entinas-Sabinar, donde encuentran descanso, refugio y alimento cientos de especies animales y vegetales. En consecuencia, el Paraje y Reserva Natural de Punta Entinas-Sabinar ha sido declarado LIC (Lugar de Inter\u00e9s Comunitario), ZEPA (Zona de Especial Protecci\u00f3n para las Aves), ZEC (Zona de Especial Conservaci\u00f3n) y forma parte de la red ecol\u00f3gica europea Natura 2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El origen de todo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Los movimientos geol\u00f3gicos, la din\u00e1mica litoral y la hidrolog\u00eda son las claves para entender el paisaje de Punta Entinas Sabinar. Fuego, viento y agua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hace diez millones de a\u00f1os, el mar lo cubr\u00eda todo, salvo las sierras de Almer\u00eda, entre ellas la Sierra de G\u00e1dor. Ocho millones de a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, el mar se retir\u00f3 a su posici\u00f3n actual dejando la extensa llanura costera que conocemos como Campo de Dal\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al retirarse, el mar fue dejando tras su paso terrazas marinas escalonadas y peque\u00f1as ensenadas. Luego lleg\u00f3 el viento de poniente, que trasport\u00f3 la arena de la playa hacia el interior, formando el cord\u00f3n de dunas que hoy conocemos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y tras ese cord\u00f3n de dunas, qued\u00f3 un manto de arcillas, sales y abundante materia org\u00e1nica que milenios despu\u00e9s sirvi\u00f3 al hombre como salinas y a la naturaleza como refugio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las pruebas del paso del tiempo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

En el Campo de Dal\u00edas, desde la costa hasta la Sierra de G\u00e1dor, encontramos hasta 27 terrazas marinas de ese antiguo mar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los Alcores, formados por materiales calizos, conchas trituradas y una gran variedad de f\u00f3siles, son un sistema de fallas que aisl\u00f3 h\u00eddricamente a Punta Entinas de forma superficial. Los humedales permanentes, y con influencia de agua dulce, nos indican la importancia que los sistemas de acu\u00edferos tienen en el espacio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
