Punta Entinas-Sabinar Natural Park

Punta Entinas-Sabinar Natural Park is home to one of the best preserved sand dune ecosystems in the Iberian Peninsula. Along 15 km of coastline, sand dunes, salt marshes, beaches and wetlands,of great ecological value, are the residence or resting habitat of a wide variety of migratory birds, including flamingos. In addition, the seabed is full of seagrass meadows.
Enjoy the beaches of the natural park or take one of the various routes and trails available, perfect for the adventurous souls. Take these trails at any time of the year, either on foot or by bike, to discover the nature of El Ejido – don’t forget your binoculars, hat and mosquito repellent!
If you are in Almerimar, follow the signs near the entrance gate of Punta Entinas-Sabinar to follow the “Marismas de Punta Entinas” trail, which runs along the northern edge of the natural park.
Be sure to visit the Punta Entinas-Sabinar Visitors Center in Almerimar, which will help you discover the biodiversity of the area.
